Dear Neighbor,

Thank you for visiting my website.

As the Budget and Finance chair, I have been the fiscal watchdog of Houston.  Not only have I been fighting to ensure that Houston lives within its means, but I have led by example, cutting my own office budget.

Rebuild Houston is essential to upgrading our failing infrastructure.  We, however, need to know how our money is being spent.

I urge you to go to the "Track the Money" section of my website.  I will be keeping an accounting of Rebuild Houston, so you know that your money is being spent wisely and we can all keep track of the progress.

I look forward to your feedback.  Let me know how we can better track how the taxpayer's money is being spent.

Houston made the smart decision to invest in our future.  Let's make sure we hold Houston accountable.
